Insurance and Billing

Our care is both medical and dental.   State of Tennessee licensed dentists can provide care for the TM joints.  Medical insurers are required to provide coverage.   However, the coverage is not significant.   Medical insurers do not offer in-network contracts to licensed dentists for TMJ care at present.  We provide medically accepted claim forms to patients as receipts for their payments to our office.  Patients can send them to their insurers, but you should expect only a token payment for reimbursement.  Dental claim forms are available on request.  The trend has been toward insurers paying for work by in-network (under-contract) dentist to provide the care.  The exception is orthodontics where all care is out of network, but reimbursement is limited in adult orhto'.

We accept checks, cash and most credit cards.

CareCredit.com    We pay for the costs of the program for 6 months at zero interest and zero fees as long as all payments are on time.  We have a suggestion to lower your exposure to the potential penalties for late payments.
